Creativity is a Practice.
It’s a practice that anyone can develop and put to use to solve problems and Creative Sprint is going to help you do just that.
Creative Sprint is global art game that anyone can play. It engages a diverse groups of individuals, businesses, schools, and community organizations in 30 consecutive days of making and sharing.
Each day during the month a daily prompt is sent out to thousands of people all over the world. Participants respond to each day’s prompt in whatever creative way they want and then share a photo of what they do by using the #CreativeSprint hashtag on social media.
For the month of October 2016, each day’s prompt will be posted on the whiteboard in the Makerspace and on this page. The Library will share your creations!
Some more focused ways to participate:
IMPROVE A SKILL Choose one medium or style which you want to get better at like pastels, collage, portraits, haiku.
BUILD YOUR TOOLBOX Try something different every day. This will give you a lot of ideas you can come back to later.
EXPLORE A THEME Your theme could be as simple as the shape of something you like (star, bicycle, etc.) or a bigger idea like, “Music” or, “The Beach”.
